PVCC ARTS

At Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC), the Fine Arts and Performance department reaches out to many different audiences and represents a culture of creativity. This logo takes elements from each discipline (Music, Theatre and Visual Arts) to unite the diverse interests and expressions of the students. The bright color palette on a black background is used to simulate a light display against the night sky seen at the annual Let There Be Light event hosted by the department. The approach of winter and the longest night of the year is celebrated with luminous displays of creativity that encapsulates what is “PVCC ARTS”.
