• Hi there, I'm Margaret Mary Ryan (mmryan). Still in its infancy, this site is a work in progress. As I build my portfolio, so too shall I build this site. I hope this turns into something great.

  • ABOUT

Like many others, I went to university after high school where I earned a B.F.A. in Art from East Stroudsburg University (ESU). After ESU, I changed directions into the restaurant business which served me well for many years. It afforded me the time to develop into my next phase in life…science. I had returned to school and, while working full-time as a bartender, first earned a B.S. in Chemistry from UNC at Asheville then an M.S. in Chemistry from Bucknell University. From there, my career trajectory has been scientific research.

In 2017, I found myself at a crossroads. I asked the universe for a sign and I was directed to PVCC (Piedmont Virginia Community College). For the past few years, I’ve been working towards certificates in both Graphic and Web Design (completion May, 2022).

The objective of this website is to display some of my work and exhibit a bit of my personality through some life stories (blog). My goal is to find an interesting group of people who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and a place where I can thrive by making significant contributions to the creative process.
